Trains terminating on the map

How will the game handle trains terminating on the playable route? will those go to a siding and then turn static until it's time for the return trip or won't these be included in the timetable?

No, also not for the services starting and terminating in Katowice. There is a yard behind Katowice which should make it possible though so maybe in the future it will be added.

I am really missing the feeling of starting up the train or shutting it down after some time servicing with it in MP

Here's hoping it will be added in the future in one form or another.

For EA we are told there's the line to Sędziszów. The Polregio EMUs should terminate and start back here, so will these basically despawn and respawn in the platform there?

At this point, there will be NO trains ending or starting inside the playable area of the map (the exception will be the Staszic mine).

In future we will introduce shuttle trains consisting of EMUs that will run between Zawiercie and Katowice and Warszawa Wschodnia and Grodzisk Mazowiecki.

I was thinking the same thing about the commuter trains in Warsaw, that terminate at Grodzisk Mazowiecki and Pruszkow.
Since there are sidings at the end of the station.

IRL trains that terminate at Pruszków and Grodzisk Mazowiecki will return to Warszawa Zachodnia where are main depots for SKM (Warsaw commuter trains) and KM (passenger trains) that runs these routes. Sidings on these stations are for cargo trains. Hope we will get Otwock to have whole S1 SKM line (or Skierniewice for KM line).
