Lawliet Posted January 5, 2023 Share Posted January 5, 2023 Suggestion based on what a number of simulators fail to do (and some succeed with relative ease, some add-ons also easily throw in cough cough RW Enhancer 2), implementation of live weather along the route. Even if it's not accurate the entire way, chopping the route in half and using radio METAR updates for Katowice and Warsaw to set up live weather would definitely be interesting/nice. 1 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

YES PLEASE... the live weather in Omsi is awesome, really adds to the immersion when the weather changes to reflect whats actually happening in the area you are driving, The METAR weather servers are there to be used by anyone, when i suggested live weather for tsw, people were saying we shouldnt be using stuff like this, the reports are for aircraft etc... but they are for anyone to use, hence why it's all open and not locked behind a paywall or needing an aircraft number to access. SurvivorSean Posted January 7, 2023 Share Posted January 7, 2023 I remember back in the day when real weather first was added to Flight Simulator. I really don't mess with that as it was an older version on early PC's but it was so cool. I have noticed that when it rains in MP it does rain everywhere. I'm not sure if the fronts move through down the line though or if it all starts raining at the same time.
