As a player, there are times when I’m feeling a bit down or stressed, and I just want to log into the game not to drive or command, but simply to sit back and watch the trains roar past in peace. There’s a certain comfort in riding as a passenger, enjoying the scenery from inside the carriage, or standing at a railroad crossing, raising and lowering the gates while listening to the crossing bell and the sound of approaching trains — it’s a quiet kind of enjoyment.

Regarding the crossing attendant mode: I’m not sure whether railroad crossings in Poland are generally manned or not. If they are, I would suggest opening up some crossings for players to take on the role of the attendant. In this mode, the attendant would need to lower the barriers in time when a train is approaching and maintain communication with the train driver via radio or signal. If the barriers are not lowered, or if the attendant fails to communicate with the driver, the train driver would be required to stop before the crossing to confirm it is safe, and then proceed through at a reduced speed.image.thumb.png.ce45bfbb8e060ad60cdeb37c15c6f417.png
