LeProblemo Posted May 24 Posted May 24 (edited) Playing the Dabrowa - Pabianice - Chojny Cargo scenario that came with the Lodz Junction DLC, something seems odd with the train data. I chose the ET25 as locomotive and the three-star Sggrss, 3100t 686m option for the cars. However, after shunting and coupling in Pabianice, when reporting ready for departure to the dispatcher, the train driver had different train data: 2083 tons and 517 meters in length. SIMRAIL Team Królik Uszasty Posted May 24 SIMRAIL Team Posted May 24 This is by design. The dialogues between dispatcher and driver are static, always mentioning intended train parameters and locomotive. Number of possible combinations is constatly growing with each locomotive or wagon. It might be rather simple to make interactive chat messages, but the problem occurs with sounds. We will not classify this as a bug, but we will talk this over.

NeatKefe Posted September 2 Posted September 2 It's still broke, regardless of loco. Tried with both Traxx and Dragon 2. When arriving at Pabianice I am told to change cabs and radio back. But at that point I have not yet gone past the exit signal, which stays red forever. So changing cabs and going in the other direction would just keep me on track 1, never reaching wagons on track 5. Still, changing cabs and calling dispatcher triggers no reply, as you'd expect. It's a shame really, that so many of the DLC scenarios just don't function. I get it's hard to keep them up to date with updates, but... I mean.. I paid good money for this content.

To be honest and open with you, this game has mostly disappointed a lot of people, leading them to switch to better train simulators—like TRS 22, or TSW 6 or 7. Honestly, it could have been a good game in terms of multiplayer, but the whole MP mode is really poorly thought out. It’s further ruined by the scenarios themselves, which make absolutely no sense. Having to jump into a scenario halfway through, only to be kicked out of the game the moment you finish—forcing you to start all over again—is enough to completely put any player off. And 40 euros for an unfinished game is just ridiculous; it really infuriates me. It’s baffling that no one seems capable of reworking the MP scenarios—for instance, by having players transport cargo between various companies—which would actually give players something meaningful to do together.
