Asrtiu Posted Sunday at 12:45 PM Posted Sunday at 12:45 PM When driving under icy wires on all electric stock except Kibel (it doesn't have any type of substation simulation implemented, weirdly enough), the locomotives behave weirdly, while there's an increase on the voltage on the catenary, there's a big spike in amp draw, opposite is true as well. Here's an example on what it does on the TRAXX (NOTE: during the whole duration of the video throttle is idle but voltage and intensity vary maintaining a non-constant power draw): 68CBE4~1.MP4 In some cases it is more obvious like in the Pendolino, I've noticed that voltage decrease at certain speeds (~80-100km/h) also decreases amperage so at 3300V you draw 800A and at 3000V you draw only 600A (for example), which is pretty weird because for the same force being applied there's less power required (makes no logical sense). So, if you can fix this icy wires thing and implement substation simulation on kibel I'd be very happy. SimRail_log_2026-02-02_18-11-41.txt
