Option to let your train be taken over by AI while still in game

Starting with AI controlling your train was a very good design choice as you get to prepare yourself to take over as you see it fit. Yet sometimes real life is a bit unpredictable. Suddenly you have to go for a few minutes and therefore as of now you would have to close the simulation and get on again later without the guarantee of actually being able to return to your train. So I would like to see some option to let the ai take over the train at least for a while so the player has more confidence in being able to get through with it without the need of missing out whatever happens in real life. It's already nice that unlike other games you can freely use your other screen to read something or browse the internet while the game remains active. So I think this would make the multiplayer something that really adapts to you (which is not so common in the gaming industry so thanks a bunch for that 🙂 )

Yes!! Some games have AFK mode or going temporarily "inactive" without losing your place in a server. Was thinking about this yesterday and would love to see this implemented! Even if it's idle for only 3-5 minutes at a time, that is still better than no time at all. Allows for bathroom breaks, water, or maybe let the dog out.
