I experienced a "Error Reading Balise" on INT9 joining EIP 1331, exiting Prusków (GM direction) on the 16th of August in ETCS L2.

I think this is not a game error, but an event that also occurs in reality. This error does not occur every time, only occasionally and in random places.
The driver's handbook available in the game clearly describes situations in which the ETCS system activates emergency braking. It also mentions a balise reading error.

Yes, but also no. IRL there're events like these yeah, but in-game most of them are bugs in the ETCS implementation that show up as errors instead of well, game crashes or other funky behaviour, in this case is that I joined an AI train that had Error Reading Balise while I was still at the loading screen (which shouldn't have happened)
