Ty2 loco bot train headlights

Could it be possible, to teach the Ty2 steam locomotive bot drivers, how to operate the head- and tail lights? When you spawn a bot train (in a custom lua scenario) with a Ty2 and have it driving around as a bot, all lights are extinguished.
