Xaid0n Posted Monday at 11:06 PM Posted Monday at 11:06 PM (edited) I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, or whether I'm doing something wrong, but I'm struggling to properly clear routes from Pruszkow towards Zyrardow/Korytow. I've attached a video so hopefully someone can point out where I may be going wrong. It caused quite a hold up the other day when I couldn't figure out the issue, so had to leave it. Friedjof Posted Tuesday at 11:23 AM Posted Tuesday at 11:23 AM You first have to set the route from the Signal P1-P4 to the corresponding virtual signal (shorter/smaller triangle) to the right of the signal. Then it function correctly. 1
Xaid0n Posted Tuesday at 01:04 PM Author Posted Tuesday at 01:04 PM Surely I should be able to clear in sequence no? M1 > P1 > Exit Signal and O3 > P3 > Exit Signal? Just seems odd if that's the case.
DazT Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago (edited) The only reason why I can think it's like that is because the signals at the exit (P1 to P4) all sit just beyond the junction and are controlled signals (red/white post and you have control over them), rather than ABS (automatic signals) and the interlocking (and you) have to ensure that P1 to P4 are cleared first (not red) before you allow a train to approach them. This is the case here at Grodzisk, it's also the same at Bedzin towards DG, it's also the same at Zawodzie at the first signal towards Mysłowice. Why it's like that, I've no idea as in essence it makes those signals a waste of time having a red lamp in them as you can never actually allow a train to approach them at red! This has been discussed in the polish part of the forum here. Essentially, this is how it works irl and this is the behaviour from now on.
