With the sounds inside and outside the train there is a huge problem.

You set it up on the opposite way.

The outside sound of the train must be the interior sound and the sound of the driver's cabin must be the sound of the interior.

Usually, the train is silent inside and louder outside

If only that were the only problem with the sounds... In the en57 I always have a cricket inside the cabin. The traxx doesn't have any noise from the traction fans or electric brake (and they are louder than any other) the sound doesn't change if you open or close the doors or windows... etc etc

Not sure if the trains used in Poland are ever going to be classed as 'silent' inside the cab... especially the EU07 / EP08 / ET22 loco's,  i sometimes turn the converter off in these loco's when stopped for more than 2 minutes due to their droning sound, especially when playing the sounds over the 7.1 surround speakers around my room... it's 10 times worse wearing headphones (So much that i use the graphic equaliser to reduce the low end noises as the converter and compressor is so loud)

and the EN57... go into the passenger compartment when it's running and it's way louder than in the cab... due to the converter being back there.
Open the cab windows in a station and you can hear the station announcements that you often miss when the windows are up.

Yes the ambient 'middle of nowhere' outside sounds need a good tweaking, the crickets should be mostly dead / hibernating this time of year in Poland, and more work needs to be done on the windows muffling the sounds if possible,

But the one sound feature we really really need is reverb, railworks / train sim classic did this very well, you could close your eyes and knew when the train was going over a bridge or through a tunnel as the track sounds changed, same with sounding the horn and getting echo in tunnels and built up areas.

I’m really curious on how they achieved to do that. Well if you know to set the sounds on the opposite you already know how to change it. It’s hilarious by the way.

This is the ETR 470 with sound inside the drivers cab

And this is a review video. And yes at least the passengers have silent inside the wagon

Don't bother, no matter how many improvements you say to have the best simulator... they won't even pay attention to you. With all the improvements we have proposed... The sound of simrail is very very bad, but they don't want to improve it.

Regarding quality of sounds, I respectfully disagree. SR among the better imo. Especially the "analog" I think is pretty good, EU07/EN57/ET22. Perfect? Nope, but fairly good compared to other sims. Only thing I'm missing that I think is "must have" is the reverb and maybe some more variation in the running sounds.

"very very bad" is to general and only make people not take note of anything you are saying.
What is specifically bad and what could be improved, is more productive.

There are signs of progress though slow at times, but mini updates/fixes has been more frequent lately. When next DLC/update is out, maybe we will se more quality of life upgrades. Hang in there, and keep posting suggestions. 🙂

There has been lots of suggetions, some big - some small. I do think they look at them, but maybe not very good at communicating or lack of updated roadmaps makes it hard for us to know.

I would suggest to the SR team to have a look at the way MSFS 2024 team post their bug and feature requests lists.
