Błąd modelu śmietnika krakowskiego
Blendzior posted a topic in Zgłaszanie błędów [Tryb jednoosobowy]
Model śmietnika na dworcu stacji Kraków Główny nie posiada dna i wyrzucane do niego śmieci lądowałyby na peronie. -

You can do this just by editing game internationalization files. As a some kind of a starting point, here's an on-going effort of translating the game to Georgian: https://github.com/SimModer/SimRailGeorgianTranlsation

Hello all, (For those who know it already, my original forum topic got closed -- so I'm creating a new one due to update I wanted to post). I wanted to present you a small project I made: https://srtt.sokora.dev/ It's a web-based multiplayer timetable viewer. Current features: automatic updates, routes view, trains start times list view, actual train compositions with historical records (brand new feature), with (somewhat) correct trains lengths and weights, and some minor ones, like the server-time clock, or the EDR links. Anybody wants to take a look? Any kind of feedback welcome! Old topic:

Yes, that is possible. Easiest way to do it is to use the "sz" signal (red and flashing white aspect), that overrides every safety check. I don't answer because I simply don't know how to. My point was that the ban reason was obstructing the traffic. If that will make more sense, think about the EU3 server as beginner friendly, and all other as hardcore professionals, where people will call you the moment they see red when they shouldn't, no matter if it's PL2, EN1, DE1. Simrail is a simulator after all. That's only a part of a sentence, let me break it down: No spamming, excessive repetition of messages, or actions that may obstruct other players' enjoyment of the Game, particularly: intentional disruption of railway traffic in the game, blocking communication channels, or actions inconsistent with the game’s included tutorials on railway operations. The thing you mentioned is only an example of more general term of "actions that may obstruct other players' enjoyment of the Game". Because it's splitting hairs. To be honest I think you are overly focused on details and for me the case is dead simple.
-
Let's summarize it: in a multiplayer game, a genuinely low skill level causing other players to start having negative experience, combined with ignoring any voice and text communication, is a legitimate reason for a ban, and will result in one eventually, as such behavior is indistinguishable from intentional trolling. You can warn other people, but they most likely know that already.
-
I don't want to argue. Blocking a station is spoiling the fun for drivers, and you got banned for that. The ban was not about speaking English in PL2. That's it. If you want to learn dispatching I encourage you to experiment on the EU3 server -- it's an unmoderated playground restarted every 4 hours.
-
The ban reason should be displayed when you try to enter the multiplayer mode. I happened to met you on September 12th, you were dispatching on Grodzisk Mazowiecki in PL2. Sorry to say that, but it looked like you were setting the routes completely randomly, causing delays and unnecessary stops. People tried contacting you, in both Polish and English and you weren't responding, so they probably started reporting you. Of course it is, and every game has its rules you are expected to follow if you want to play it: https://store.steampowered.com/eula/1422130_eula_0?eulaLang=english.

Schedule 13253 and 31250.
Blendzior replied to delphind77rus's topic in Suggestions for improvements [Multiplayer]
That is not true. What is true though, is that: 31250 has no layover at Włoszczowa Północ, and usually arrives at OP at 2:30-2:32 (15 minutes early), 13253 usually arrives at OP just on time. in such case OP, for some reason, clears 31250 first, 13253 waits for 15 minutes at entry signal -- and finally gets into the platform, already 4 minutes late, and its 11-minute layover becomes 20 seconds. And that's really frustrating to see when you're driving 13253. So what I think needs to be done, is making sure that: the virtual dispatcher takes the right train first, the bot driver doesn't push it to the limit, and slow down to keep it to the schedule, avoiding being 15 minutes early. -
Nowa ranga [Pomocnik]
Blendzior replied to Marcion's topic in Sugestie usprawnień [Tryb wieloosobowy]
Get live timetable with API from only one Train-Number
Blendzior replied to Böni's topic in General Discussion [Multiplayer]
No need to reverse engineer 😅 https://wiki.simrail.eu/en/API/Timetable-endpoint https://api1.aws.simrail.eu:8082/api/getAllTimetables?serverCode=en1&train=1441 -
[CN/EN/CZ/DE] SimRail Log System - Train Data Recording System
Blendzior replied to 信越重工's topic in WWW Applications
Thank you for that project. Would you mind including the polish servers (PL1, PL2, PL3, PL4, PL8) as well? -
I would like to be able to reorder (drag&drop or up-down arrow buttons) the dispatcher chat-boxes (example in the attachments: I would like to be able to move Pilichowice on top of Idzikowice).

Web-based multiplayer timetable viewer
Blendzior replied to Blendzior's topic in General Discussion [Multiplayer]
That's some encouragement. I think I have an idea how to mix them, but that would require me to constantly query for the API responses, like every server, every 5-15 minutes, which I would try to avoid. Well, that's also what I'm thinking -- maybe they will be valid at some point, and it's not worth doing extra job. Appreciate the info though. I acquired some data few days ago (38 hours of constantly asking for trains-open, every 15 seconds, just quickly processed it and it looks like there are only 97 types of cars, including engines, many of which map to a single car). Thanks. -
Web-based multiplayer timetable viewer
Blendzior replied to Blendzior's topic in General Discussion [Multiplayer]
Thanks for some kind words! I'm afraid the thing I made is currently not capable of such things. The way it works right now is: it uses a SimRail API (https://api1.aws.simrail.eu:8082/api/getAllTimetables?serverCode=pl2) that serves a raw timetable for the next 24 hours -- and the values for weights and lengths are already there, but they're partly invalid -- and that's basically the sole input of the data presented. I actually thought of going that way, using the "trains-open" API and mixing that with the timetable API data, but I haven't decided yet if that's a good approach -- the data presented might be either better or worse -- there's no guarantee that the data both APIs serve matches -- so the decision what's right and what isn't would be on me. That would also require what exactly you did: hard-coding cars lengths (easy, one time job), and weights (much more error prone), which itself conflicts with my no-maintenance goal, just like you pointed out. -
Hello all, I wanted to present you a small project I made. It's still in development, but mature enough to be shared here. https://srtt.sokora.dev/ It's a web-based multiplayer timetable viewer. Current features: automatic updates, routes view, trains start times list view, and some minor ones, like the server-time clock, or the EDR links. I wanted to create a tool, that: is simple, presents correct, up-to-date data, doesn't require (lot of) maintenance, aims for more arcade-type play-style (not like real railway timetables), focuses on playable parts of the scenarios, helps finding trains that will spawn shortly, helps finding interesting trains to drive. Problems I know about: train weights and lengths seem to be off, some trains on the list seem not to spawn at all, doesn't work very well on phone displays. Anybody wants to take a look? Any kind of feedback welcome!
