Hi, I'm sorry if this will come off as rude. I understand that programming is an incredibly long and delicate process, which takes huge amounts of time and care. But. It's been more than two years since I joined the SimRail community; one of the key aspects that sold me the game was the possibility to operate a mechanical signalbox while some steam trains are running outside. I understand why lever frames aren't ready yet. I'm fine with that. However... Would it be possible to actually see what has been made? To know what is missing? Is it 3D modelling? Programming? Sounds? Bugs? Glitches? Missing documentation? Issues to integrate it with SimRail game/internal mechanics? Since many of us paid upfront for an unfinished game and it's been more than two years now, could we please get more details about this? Maybe some screens of what has been done, what has been tried and failed, and, in general, what's going on? Thanks 😅

Updated L008_KG_Sd - hoping I did everything right 🙂

Hi, After some time playing SimRail as a driver, especially in heavy areas like Katowice or Warszawa, SimRail crashes - despite having 40GB of RAM, which should be plenty; in any case, I managed to ride on the whole network, in multiplayer, for entire lines in one go, and with Chrome opened on a second monitor to see the PDF timetable, so my PC shouldn't be the issue. Tonight I was driving a 146xxx on EN1, I picked it up from GM, and SimRail crashed between DZB and DG (see 1st log). The problem is that, when I tried to reopen SimRail and choose the same train, it crashed on loading (see 2nd log). I then tried with another train, and again it crashed (3rd log). Hello everyone! I finally took some time to solve a couple of things with SRTD; mainly: layout selection with mouse (which for some reason doesn't work on mobile... yet); added SPł and DGHK in layout L001_KO_Zw; dotted lines in L001_KO_Zw to connect the parts of the line; minor fixes in L004_Zw_Gr; ...but most importantly, I finally published it on GitHub! Did it take a lot of time and effort to do? No! But did I take a lot of time to do it? Of course! Github: https://github.com/ixiai/SRTD/ The link in the original post for the online version is still valid. The readme on GitHub contains a few more info - including known issues. For Warszawa, we rely on @Rokolell and @The L. U. Z. 🙃

PWJ trains are empty stock, though. Not really a passenger service.

Hi, and welcome to SimRail! Silly question, but just to make sure: are you dragging it upwards or just clicking? -
AI signalling bugs post 13/09/2024 server side update

Btw 244xxx should always run on track 4, because more often than not SPł won't be able to clear the signal right away and the train, standing at the home signal, will block all of SG. -

It looks like the AI received some fixes: -
Hi, just now, on EN1, I was dispatching Katowice Zawodzie when 40133, driven by a bot, didn't stop, despite having ph here.

If you want to make it sharper, did you remember to scale the size by devicePixelRatio?

Really useful app! Well done! Planning in some stations will definitely become a bit easier now. There's only a tiny detail that I'd love to see fixed: when a train goes on a branch line, we see it going away with an arrow, and that's fine; however, that train is drawn all the way to the next station. For example, when planning what to do between Sosnowiec Głowny (R52) and S. Południowy, the graph is obstructed by the traffic on line 1. Would it be possible to draw the trains going to branch lines only halfway through the section between two stations? Or even better, something like 1/3. Btw I was a bit surprised when I was trying all the buttons and SRTD showed up. Happy to see it integrated! 🙂 Keep up the great work!

Sooner or later, I will! 😅 I just have a negative amount of free time, lately. Thank you very much! Thank you! I'm glad this tools not only helps dispatchers, but can also be a way to learn how to "see" and "read" railway traffic. That map can be pretty neat for other uses, but it's definitely not recommended to manage a station. That would require more work than just adding lines and stations; alas, I don't have the free time to do it. However, if someone wants to do it, feel free to reuse my code - under the license CC BY-NC-SA

Great, thank you very much! Mind if I add it to the online SRTD, as soon as I get back home in a few days?

What's the Best Practice for getting Track/Signal IDs?

Didn't know that! Thank you very much! -

Oh, I see, thanks! It's not the first time that I see some screenshot like this one, so maybe I missed something.
