There is no need for a later release. The servers are still on a 3 hour reboot cycle and it is "early access" so with bugs included. 😁

I'm ready for it and I hope a lot of folks are similarly. 😄 In all likelihood we'll lock up the board within no time with a lot of new drivers and dispatchers. In which case: don't panic! 😁 I'll try to be around to help clear out boards and push forward the trains. So let her rip! 🚄

Well that was it on the playtest. See you all tomorrow. 🚄

Doesn't matter what players do, the AI should never get confused and just deal with the mess.

Bug? or just lack of understanding of the rules for routing?
Skully replied to Urgentemente's topic in General Discussion
I betting there are more rule nerds on the Polish forum: 😄 -

I'm not an expert either and my Polish isn't any better than Google translate. 😁 § 24 ust. 15 might make sense. At least that is how the game behaves. Which would mean 8a: "Train # is stopped" is the preferable template. -
24 hours without SimRail !? 🥶

Good point however I can find no such instruction in R-1. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1g-uorn6BElwUeoPNBQ-GZ-z9GR6mE9Y2l46X8VIvZZA/edit#gid=0 -

This "Train ... cancelled" message leaves a lot to be desired. A better message would be "Disregard previous messages of train ...". Still the message could be more informative by stating what the AI is actually intending to do with the train. -
La nieve no haría ese sonido. 😁

No, also not for the services starting and terminating in Katowice. There is a yard behind Katowice which should make it possible though so maybe in the future it will be added.

Executing an AZK3 does make the line direction turn around. However Dąbrowa Górnicza Ząbkowice doesn't acknowledge (WBL/OSTOP) the direction change so trying to release the lock is no longer possible. Note this does work for an A2 in Będzin which we can acknowledge (WBL) in Dąbrowa Górnicza at which point the lock can be released (ZWBL).

I think not everyone has realized that (some/most/all?) Polish double lines are equipped to run both left and right at full capacity. In some countries the opposite line is only signaled at start and end but here the entire stretch is properly blocked. So this makes for cases in which you can do some very clean double track movements. For example from Knapówka to Psary around :45 in the current schedule. After setting up the left track from Knapówka to Psary you can let the 241 enter on the left while the 13 enters on the right. At which point the race to Psary in on. Set it up to have the trains come in as far as you can before making a decision which one goes first. Do make sure to use junction 30 to 40 for the 13 as that is a high speed turnout at 100 km/h as opposed to junction 6 which is a low speed (60 km/h). You also don't want to use junction 3 to junction 40 as this would have the train move at 100 km/h for a full block. And finally letting the 241 go on the right. There are other opportunities as well in the northern dispatch stations but these require some calculations. Keep in mind some blocks are 160 meters others are 180 meters and a Pendo going down to 100 km/h is a 100% speed loss while an EC or IC only looses 20 km/h (as with the 241 above). Once we see the schedule on Friday I may do a complete set of calculations for each station. 😄

There is(/ can be) no argument between Sosnowiec Główny dispatcher and 6440## drivers as the schedule clearly shows a 17 minute layover. Usually the dispatchers don't want to hold player driven trains so they discuss given it a free pass. Sometimes I hold it until the 406 has passed. Alternatively you can hold onto bot trains until players show up. All is fair until the departure time is reached at which point the dispatcher should do its utmost to get the train out of there.

Major bug with AI trains (repeatedly)
Skully replied to TheFloxiCz's topic in Bug reporting (multiplayer)
From what I could see junction 86 was lined (in plus) against a route for 42924 to be able to move. While junction 91 was also lined in plus so no train was correctly lined for platform 4. I did not inspect junction 85 (or 81) to see whether any route was aligned for platform 3. (Assuming Kawotice northbound is still using even tracks.) -
Correct wherein 421044 was not deleted, but 421046 was deleted for the same maneuver.

Should be 615/616. Reset itself is working just fine. PS. Should these not light up after a train passes without route (via substitute signal)?
