PonPon Posted July 26 Posted July 26 Due to various reasons, I often find myself exiting the game before I finish a train route. Sometimes I need to "combat log" because the game or my PC is frozen, and other times I leave through the ESC menu. I was wondering how the XP system works with exiting, since I technically did run a train I just didn't see the end card, so it is hard to tell if I am still getting the XP reflective of my actual experience.
HarlockG Posted September 17 Posted September 17 I'd like to also get some info about this. I feel like we should still get XP even we don't finish the whole route.
Sunscreen Posted October 2 Posted October 2 I hand control back to the ai bot if im leaving early, exit to main menu and at that point I see a summary of xp earned. Hope that helps
LeHack Posted October 2 Posted October 2 Like @Sunscreen mentioned, in multiplayer you have to "return to the menu" to get XPs. You'll get the "scenario abandoned" screen and how much XPs you earned (among other things). It seems to work in a similar manner in the Single player (although I'm not 100% sure). Not sure what really happens if you directly exit the game, but I guess the XP might then be lost.
