Chuck_Borris
The track, signals, magnets all seem to exist and have effect but there was no visible environment around me. The only objects that would load once in a while were windows of buildings and some clouds here and there. I kept going like this for about 15 minutes until I decided to close. I was after a train sim, not a flight sim after all.
Chuck_Borris
Some other bugs that I came across so far: 1. Sometimes, I can´t tell yet under what circumstances and how to replicate it, the text pop-up that appears when you put the mouse cursor over a lever or button is not showing up. I usually make it re-appear by going outside (camera 3) and then coming back again but during movement this is not possible and unless one knows all buttons by heart it is impossible to know what to press or in what state a button/level is. 2. Pneumatic brake lever on EU07 locomotive freezes sometimes when changing positions using the 9 and 3 keys. 3. The windscreen of the EU07 locomotive does not show rain drops when it rains. Only the lateral windows show the rain. Also, when it rains and I go outside the locomotive, there is no rain. I can only see it on the lateral windows. It produces no sound either. 4. Opening the lateral window in the EU07 makes no difference in sound level or noise compared to when it is closed. I was expecting it to block some of the outside noise when closed but there is no difference currently. 5. In the screenshots added in the previous post, that train formation does not allow me to open or close doors at stations. I tried all the keys allocated to door controls, none have effect. They do work on the EMU train without any problem but not on passenger coaches pulled by the EU07 locomotive. 6. During movement, the EU07 has a constant side to side movement at higher speeds. This is a bit motion sickness inducing a besides this, it is a loop that seems tied to speed rather than track quality/condition. By comparison, none of the coaches that again you can see in the screenshots in my previous post, have any sway or movement at all. They are completely fixed regardless of speed. 7. Track noise seems to be missing. Except points and some curves the rest is completely silent. I don´t know how the track is in reality, I simply feel that it is too quiet and lacks track joints sounds completely. I don´t think it´s all welded, is it? 8. I can´t inside the train through the passenger doors from the platform. There seems to be an invisible wall. I don´t know if this is intended. The passengers that were waiting right in front of the doors were not getting in either, they were stuck there. In fact, no one on the platform was moving except me. 9. The lighting and shadows don´t seem to work well. There are big forests that cast no shadows at all and all trees are lit identically even the ones that are in the middle of the forest and should be in shade from the others. I play with everything on maximum, DLSS quality, RTX 3070 OC. Inside the EU07 cab, I see the sun reflection on the right window but if I look to the left I can´t see the sun so it seems that the loco frame is not a solid object, the light meets the surface of the window and generates the reflection. Perhaps the loco model needs to be checked for materials.
