Brake problem with the Pandolino

I was quietly driving along and I have a warning light that activates (see below).  


After this light was activated, I could no longer use the electro-pneumatic brake. (Tightening )

I had to activate the *brake manipulator lock* to be able to continue braking. 

 

 

 

And once I activated the brake lock, the warning light that went off deactivated and I was able to brake normally.
