Strzalki: Westbound trains departing passing tracks are "too far away" to update EDR while still in view

Have encountered this issue in the past and it happened again yesterday. It applies to both passing tracks.

When a train that has been stopped departs from a passing track, I cannot update the EDR because the train is "too far away", even when the rear of the train has not passed the signal box.
