Derailed! And it was all going so well..

Just wanted to apologise if my inadvertent and embarrassing derailment inconvenienced anyone earlier this evening. I was distracted by my daughter and so missed a change onto another track, noticed with a few hundred metres to go, slammed on the anchors but from 120kph it was only going one way.

Terribly sorry if anyone was dispatching where it happened. I shall be more diligent next time.

no worrys thats a normal day picture at the MP 😂 but i missing a option that a dispatcher can cancel a train via PC after a derailment would be good to know for the dispatcher 20 signalboxes away that a train dont need to wait for that derailed mate 😬

Usually the derailed train gets deleted before the wreckage has come to rest so you never get to see what you did.

I don't know what happens on the dispatchers side of things when that happens, is the train and it's set up route just deleted / released, or does it cause problems with a locked in route etc.

Last time i derailed, it didn't get deleted, i had a coach upside down blocking the high speed lines, my loco's bogies had been ripped off and piled up underneath, and i was able to wander about looking at the mess i'd made, 

Another driver behind me stopped the other side of the station and tried walking to me, i think he could see my wreckage too, 

i tried to move my train, but it wouldn't budge, but when i handed control to the bot, it drove off as if nothing had happened!!!, a loco with no attached wheels and dragging a single remaining coach.
Then after a few hundred meters it got deleted and i was kicked for the derail.

the last time i see a train derail was in psary as dispatcher it was a train from warszawa to krakow he take the switch with 200 xD he strangly just keep rolling after showed as derailed and then just get deleted but that was long ago maybe there is something differend now🤔
