SIMRAIL Team GoppelPL Posted September 29, 2023 SIMRAIL Team Posted September 29, 2023 No way that I could explain this in German, tut mir leid. The Elf has a computer in every part (so 2 in EN96 and 4 in EN76). Setting the first cab for "1 car" makes the software look for four computers, and if it finds four, it acknowledges that communication was established. Setting it for "2 cars" makes it look for more - and setting it for "-1 car" lets the "searching" computer know, that this one is the end of the train and if there were 8, 12 or 16 computers found on the way, the communication in multitraction was established correctly. It's weird, but it works. The "-1 car" setting doesn't mean that you activate the rear cab, but it lets the front know, where the end is. 6 1
