Somehow i am unable to turn on/off the lights in passenger cars while the bot can

In the siódemka i can't find a specific switch for that (afaik it's the train heating that enables lights and heating both) although in the traxx there actually is a setting for train lights in the settings menu but that doesn't seem to work either

When you don't drive Elf or Pendolino the only option to activate passenger light is turning on the bot. Except of this two vehicles there is no option to turn it on manually.

Seem to recal somebody mention train heating in the EP07. Not testet yet when off. Tried it when lights were on, but that didn't turn them off.

the older slam door coaches have a self contained lighting power system,
generators are turned by a prop shaft and bevel drive off one of the bogies wheels, this charges batteries in the coaches and runs the lights, so each coach has it's own power generation system for the lighting.

So the heating switch just sends (i think 3KV DC) to the coaches to run the heating and A/C if fitted, and power the catering equipment,

on the sliding door modern coaches, they rely on the 'head end' power more, but still have batteries to run the lights, just these are charged via the 'inverter' which is the high pitched whining you can hear if you walk down your train after turning the heating switch on in the cab.

On most loco hauled trains, the coach lighting would be controlled from the guards compartment,  or via a switch panel that is unlocked by the guard at the end of each coach, just inside the door.
