Zulnex
I have seen quite a few train horn whistle signs that are too high. This one is located near Wolbrom. There are quite a few more signs like this on various locations. Please take a look at the image below. SIMRAIL Team uetam Posted May 27, 2023 SIMRAIL Team Share Posted May 27, 2023 Sometimes those signs are placed directly on catenary poles instead of beeing stuck in the ground.

Gazz292
Can i ask what makes you think the signs should only be on low posts? A genuine question, as i am wondering if the signs and signals guide i made needs some things clarifying on it.... like i've read that some people think that distant signals are only 2 aspect signal heads, as i didn't make it clear in my guide that almost any 'main' signal head can be a distant one, as long as it has the W1 sign Infront of or on the signal post. Thank you for the reply. I didn't know that actually. I saw many signs like this in the ground, so I assumed it was a bug if they were too high. My apologies. Feel free to close this topic if you like. Edited May 27, 2023 by Zulnex
