Cubey
Ever since the latest update the trains are sluggish when they pass me when I'm dispatching. Is anyone else experiencing this?
sf_giants15
which trains do you mean? Do you mean the freight trains? They have loads now and are much heavier than before, so they need more time to get going
Gazz292
I think i know what you mean, The other trains slow down, some stop dead altogether, but most jerk forwards about half a carriage / wagon length aa time once they are in the high resolution view (LOD) of about 20 or so meters around the driver. The kind of thing you get in multiplayer games where the other players will suddenly teleport about around you instead of moving smoothly, due to server lag, high pings and all that stuff. Exactly this. It was rare before the update. Now it's pretty much every train.
Sean the Sheep
I agree and have noticed the same. When up close to trains, when both dispatching and driving, their movement is jerky, often when passing an EIP it will appear as one carriage passes, pauses, next passes, pause, then the next passes, pause etc. 1
Angelo
I've noticed that too. It's as if, for some instants, we stop receiving the current position of the train.
