peter
Dear Community, Is it possible to enter only the arrival time of a train into the new EDR, but leave the departure time empty, in case a train is still at the platform? I find myself having to take notes of the arrival times, so that I can enter them along with the departure time when a train leaves. Thank you!

This only works if the train is on time. How can I do the same if the train is early or late?

SugaCane
But you can still press "Confirm departure time" to set the departure time to the current time or edit the entire time with "Time enter".
Matejzon
So here is what I usually do, which might be the proper way to do it --- but I'm not 100% sure about that. Train arrives to my station (either platform or siding - I do the same every station, while I'm "holding" a train) I right click on the train, then on "Time enter" Then I fill out the times as usual: Train arrived at 18:46 and the train will probably be departing at 18:51 it had a pendolino behind it and it was already behind schedule I click on "Enter stop (train STOP)" and on my timetable the train will enter into "prognosis" mode The train I'm holding will have it's predicted departure time (that I entered) highlighted in orange. Basically it's highlighted until I release the train Do the same menu-clicking-adventure to release the train, which will save the time that you entered / the time you released the train. Profit Do note, that the system usually does allow times in the future to be entered/confirmed in the timetable (in my example I entered 18:46 at 18:44), but in my experience only ~2 minutes fortune-telling is allowed. For crossing trains I usually click confirm crossing time and... I try to let the next station know, before I get What drove away'd. I think I have been misled by the naming. For me, "<<confirm>> arrival time" means "confirm that the train arrived at the expected time". Perhaps a better translation would be "Register train arrival". Thanks for the clarification!
