Katowice Zawodcie, how passengers are comeing to train?

Hey, can somebody explain me the sens of the Railroad Crossing Katowice Zawodcie?

First of all the Perons. They have no tunnel and are not reachable for people from any side.

At the railroad crossing there is a permanent red white barrer, at the city side.

The railway barrier is between peron1 and peron2, what ist the sense/funktion of the barrer?

Im looking at photos in the internet, but they are not very helpful.

 

I will be happy if somebody can explain.

Past the dispatcher house there is a tunnel to the southern side of the tracks.

Regarding permanent barriers I don't know, but maybe a time of sim issue, I believe simrail is based on 2018?

Thanks a lot, now i know about the tunel.

If you go TO the trains, on the track wehere the pendolino is, there are driving trains with high speed. on the other side of the track are maybe just trains who are stopping there? Then its clear that you dont need to save the track.

Another factor is line of sight I think, as the track curves around the dispatcher house, the view distance both for train driver and people crossign is limited.
