It's really nice that the playtest has started, but to do it without a tutorial AND documentation is just insane. We URGENTLY need documentation for the drivers and dispatchers on how to actually use Simrail, otherwise we can't test the whole thing accordingly. (It doesn't help that the translations are not complete and many things are in Polish.

We are currently working on tutorials for Dispatcher Mode and EU07 locomotive. Tutorials should be avaiable tommorow on our forum

Very much looking forward to this! It can be frustrating to have the dispatching software refuse to do something you ask of it, likely for a very good reason, but without knowing why.

We need PDF manuals for dispatcher an also for train radio. ZW1. ZW3 etc.

The idea of a playtest is to find as many problems and issues before release, and find out how people can break things.

 

What is the biggest issue all releases have.... people not reading the manual or bothering with tutorials, just spamming all the buttons hoping to figure it out.

That is what's happening now it seems, along with the trolls who just want to mess things up deliberately, or 'have races' etc.

So this is all good data being collected to work out ways to weed out the asshats who wants to spoil things, and correct deliberate locking up of the system etc.

Agreed.  Still some of us want to have fun and know how to opearte properly.  I understand EN4 the other night they were left hand running as agreed by the DS between stations and I think it worked out good.  I didn't want to participate in that personally.  But yes people breaking crap is a good litmus test, as much as it ticks off some people.
