weezzah Posted February 3, 2023 Posted February 3, 2023 With the automated radio channels option set to off, it would be great to have the radio set to the correct channel when you spawn into a train in multiplayer. Many times you spawn into a train not knowing the correct radio channel in the vicinity, especially if you're new and/or the radio channel sign is way behind you because you spawned into a running train. The latter is probably the most common and the most important reason in my opinion. And it also makes sense that a running train is configured properly. If it's not then the AI driver did a bad job before you took over the controls 😉 This suggestion came out of this thread: 2
SIMRAIL Team uetam Posted February 3, 2023 SIMRAIL Team Posted February 3, 2023 The correct radio channel should be set automatically as you drive past not only W28 sign but also the home signal to the next station.
weezzah Posted February 3, 2023 Author Posted February 3, 2023 (edited) Even with the automated radio channels option set to off? So it's not set instantly when you spawn in, correct? Edit: Okay, it did set it like you said when I took it over at the right moment Edited February 3, 2023 by weezzah
weezzah Posted February 3, 2023 Author Posted February 3, 2023 The only part left of the suggestion then is that the radio is not initialized when you spawn into a station, for example Bedzin at channel 2. That means you're on the wrong channel until you leave Bedzin and pass a W28 or a home signal. Therefore it's still a valid suggestion to initialize the radio at the moment you spawn in I think. 1
