lDestinyl
For SimRail, it would be great to set the throttle or brake to the axis of motion. I don't know if this has already been addressed here or if there is a workaround with a third party program? SIMRAIL Team Stele Posted January 23, 2023 SIMRAIL Team Share Posted January 23, 2023 It should be so from the start. X/Y in direction coresponding with given switch. Issue is with things like handles with wide angle rotations. Mouse input only keep track of movement in X or Y axis. Mind suggest turning cursor in circles, so there would have to be defined path with vectors between every position. Like casting in first Harry Potter games. But it depends on person. It was issue for me at the start, but after two years of development, I'd probably struggle with the change.
lDestinyl
So you think there might be a chance in the future. 😉 It would really help the feel of the ride. Edited January 23, 2023 by lDestinyl
