maf Posted January 21, 2023 Posted January 21, 2023 Hey I got a question, I finished a few routes in MP, however the service never ends at a station, but on the way again. Is that a bug or it has some purpose? Feels kinda weird when I do not reach the last station yet and got message scenario completed.
TheFloxiCz Posted January 21, 2023 Posted January 21, 2023 It's on purpose, because all these trains in real life continue to different station, which is not available in the game (like Bohumín, Gliwice, Czestochowa, etc.).
Cyclone Posted January 21, 2023 Posted January 21, 2023 (edited) If we ever get the chance to start and end at a station, we'll likely get a small extension to Warsaw or a route to Katowice Ligata, which is en route to Tychy, which loops around to Mystowice. So we have a couple of spots where services can start and end in the future, once they figure out the mechanics. It would actually be nice to have each individual train represented like in a real schedule, so Train 609 is responsible for this service followed by this service, and if the first is running late the second also starts late. Oh, and also the link of Lines 8 and 25 being a destination for a Line 62 service. Edited January 21, 2023 by Cyclone 2
titan2002 Posted January 21, 2023 Posted January 21, 2023 I think you will. This Pendolino Train starts in Warsaw Central Station, so you can join there direkt in the station.
lund456 Posted January 21, 2023 Posted January 21, 2023 It has been mentioned before that it is on purpose for now that all trains are "through" services spawning at limit of the map and ending at limit of the map, except freight trains that start at Staszic. However it has been said that in the future, we will see services starting/ending on the map also.
maf Posted January 21, 2023 Author Posted January 21, 2023 Ah alright fair, well I thought this might be the reason. It's not really a matter of line not stopping at scheduled end, more like it would be I think more satisfying if the service ended on any last station, instead of allowing you to drive for another few meters.
peter Posted January 21, 2023 Posted January 21, 2023 I think the reason is that shunting operations, and the procedure to change the train number of a train in the interlocking system (when it changes direction and becomes a new service), are not implemented yet. 2
