Hi,
I write down one idea submitted by @TTV Bioxyde37 about the dispatchers. How about the separate two kind of gained experience. The player should have driver experience and dispatcher experience.

As a Dispatcher, you will for example gain XP by :
- Using accordingly communications
- Setting up good routes
- Prioritize Pendolino over Freight
- Completing EDR

This will have better reward than just wait for hours in game to have access to better dispatchers station.

Prioritizing passengers over freight should be, not only pendolino... Completing an EDR I think it's a bit way too much, some of us can't be 24hrs at a station controlling trains. 😅

But I agree, there has to be a system to evaluate people, or rather a system for other players to remove troll people or correct missroutes from the AI, I did wrote a suggestion concerning dispatchers that can be seen here:

We definetly need a reputation system for dispatchers... Since the release I experienced a lot of wrong stuff from new dispatchers (both as driver & dispatcher myself).

Totally agree, the current 'dispatch for X hours to unlock new signal boxes' system is a bit too simplistic and can let someone into a difficult signal box even when they have no proof of actually learning how to dispatch. An experience system would do well to not only make sure people are doing a good job dispatching before getting to difficult signal boxes but could also help by providing feedback to facilitate learning. It sounds silly but a red "minus points!" message does a good job of saying 'don't do that again' and a green "plus points!" message helps people know 'you did it right, keep it up!', and that's good old reinforcement learning in action. The current system which gives absolutely no feedback is comparatively difficult to learn from.

Now for the inevitable "how dare you add a gamey mechanic like XP to my simulator" which seems to be what this community has devolved to...But to those people-how would you like the game to tell people they did something right or wrong? What sort of real-time reward/punishment should a dispatcher receive to better understand if they are doing a good job?

I agree, but not with the examples.

Using accordingly communications

Of course, this is core feature.

Setting up good routes ?

Idk what you mean by good routes but i dont know if system can see the difference. I hope they make something so system can award you for left track route etc. So kinda agree

Prioritize Pendolino over freight ️/

This i dont completely agree with. I said it before and im saying it again. Im afraid that thid system could go wrong and punish you if you dont delay anything, for example i would make loose points for big delay made. Because a lot of times cargo can be faster than passenger trains. Not pendos but stoping passenger trains. I sent cargos ahead those many times and it works 90% times. Remember elf can accelerate faster than a heavy cargo train so sometimes its better to sacrifice 1 min to keep traffic flowing.

Completing EDR

Definitely!! We need to teach player use edr when it will be available.
