Ok, thank you for your answer Uetam 🙂

By the way, what is the meaning for "reserve" ? Does it mean that this button has no function yet but maybe later ?

Exactly. This button does nothing 🙂

This EU07 has the red mushroom button in the place you mention... but look at the switches for the headlights.... and quite a lot of other differences.

Oh Nice cab picture @Gazz292 🙂 Yes small differences at the switches. As uetam said, many iterations of this cab in many EU07 models 🙂

Reserve switches were meant to be wired in if something important failed and there weren't fitting switches in stockpile. In times of of Polish Peoples Republic there were even lacks of ductape and cable ties. 😛
Model doesn't reflect any single loco. Just some 4E class without major modernisations. Inspirations were taken from at least four separate ones, depending of what part had the best photos aviable.

Ah yes, the times when "standardization" was not in order... Similar things occured in Spain with locomotives of the same series having a lot of modifications in their cabs. ðŸ˜…

Then every loco had crew assigned to it, so they added cupholders, cushions, curtains, saints pictures, custom paintjobs etc. Today every modernisation is done in small batches in different companies, so even same series under same operator have differences. Like our EN76-006 can't get several skins with different numbers, as all other EN76 used in Koleje Śląskie lack cruise control. 😛
