ZLO - Zresetuj Licznik Osi, Reset Axle Counter ZLOP - Zresetuj Licznik Osi Potwierdzenie, Reset Axle Counter Confirmation Axle counters are used by signaling systems for checking track (or part of tracks between signals) for occupancy and works that way that one counter counts how many axles drove into a zone (track part, siding, etc. - whatever is protected) and the second counts how many drove out of the zone. If this count equals than system can confirm than whole train left protected part of track. This is the magic done from where it is known where the train is on the dispatcher screen schematics. You can see it on your monitor with red (more axle entered than exited - occupied) and white (equal numer entered and exited - empty) marks. But from time to time something might get wrong and the counter fails to count all axels. And if so, and you are 100% sure (check twice and ask other dispatchers for conformation) that particular train (and all! its cars) left track section marked red on your dispatcher screen - you can reset the counters and unlock that section for other trains. As this procedure strongly affect safety you need to confirm ZLO with ZLOP. 2 1
