Hambone Posted December 21, 2022 Posted December 21, 2022 I've been flight simming since the early 1980s and have only dabbled with train sims. I note from the prologue that there are a series of steps that need to be followed to get things going as there are on an airplane. For each airplane that I fly in the sim, there is a checklist to be followed. At 72, I can't remember what day it is much less how to start a complex jet. Is there or will there be a method of having checklists for the trains in the sim or is that something that is not done? Thanks!
SIMRAIL Team Stele Posted December 21, 2022 SIMRAIL Team Posted December 21, 2022 Every loco have (or will have) interactive tutorial, like in previous demo version, that will tell you what to do in order with highlighting of switches. Following official checklist might be missleading, as some things aren't simulated and you often take over locomotive with many machines already working. I have manuals for all of them somewhere, but none in english, and they're published books or internal company papers not to be publicly released on web sadly.
Hambone Posted December 21, 2022 Author Posted December 21, 2022 Thanks - the tutorials are helpful. But, after a week or so, it's tough to remember the steps!
