Pixelade
I remember hearing on a very old stream for SimRail Prologue (a year ago) that rail driver support was planned but that was the first and ONLY time i've heard about it. Are there any updates on Rail Driver support and if support for this controller will be fully implemented and available for the launch of the game next month? Lactic
I am also interested in the answer. Blu Games tends to assume that P.I. Engineering will probably not update their controller anymore.

-1PARA-AlexKall
They did say that there would be joystick support, I understood it as being able to use for example a throttle (think aircraft) to bind an analogue axis to a function (which we so far pretty much only have in Zusi 3). I hope that is still on the table. Although on the steam page it is now listed as "partial controller support", which made me a bit sad.

Oh NO, i've been getting into SimRail because i like to build controllers to drive trains with, i also have the real driving deask from a German BR111 loco, and i want to be able to connect them to the computer as joystick axis and buttons, and control the trains. i was trying to do this in tsw, but they only offer raildriver support, and that requiered hacking code to allow a joystick to pretend to be a raildriver, but raildrivers are so limited, they are aimed at american trains, so i find mine horrible to use on european trains... not to mention it's so tiny in my hands, hence why i like building bigger controllers that actually look like the european trains i love to drive : But having joystick support means people can drive the trains using throttle quadrants like these :
-1PARA-AlexKall
I hope it's just a playtest thing to limit potential problems caused by joysticks in the bug finding mission and it will be added to full game. I use my Hotas Warthog throttle in Zusi 3 which works really well and would love to use that in Simrail as well. Really like your controller you made, well done, looks brilliant! Looks to be way higher quality compared to the Raildriver which I've never liked the looks of, looks very cheaply made but cost quite a bit, and as you say more aimed at US train driving which I'm not much into. And using Arduino to make your own controls with an interface (made by the community, can't expect that from the developers) to interact with Simrail to make displays etc as well would be awesome. Howky
I would like to ask if there will be any interface for other control panels ? Alternatively, will there be an interface for the ability to create your own phone or station control panel.
