Gamepad R2/L2 or RT/LT Break Bug (PC/Steam Version)

Every time I brake with the gamepad using R2/L2 or RT/LT, 
the brakes trigger twice when I release the L2/R2 or RT/LT Button.

I tested it with the Xbox and the DualShock (PS4/PS5) controllers.
Steam input is turned off.
I don't think this is normal since it doesn't happen with the keyboard.

And perhaps in the future, it would be nice to be able to change the keybinds
manually in the settings menu.
