Sync achievement progress trough steam cloud

I switch between my main pc and laptop quite often and today I saw that the night dispatching achievement took 37 minutes (my progression on my other computer) before it started counting upwards again. Would be nice if the achievement progress could be synced trough steam cloud or in some other form. I'm unsure if it is possible so please correct me if it impossible.
