Hamster Cheeks Posted Tuesday at 03:43 PM Posted Tuesday at 03:43 PM Surely this new server line up is meant to have at least one server for English speaking people from the UK? I'd imagine a new player from the UK will be confused to what server to choose...
Gazz292 Posted Wednesday at 06:26 PM Posted Wednesday at 06:26 PM Yesterday i asked on discord if INT1's timezone could be changed to UTC+0 as EN1 used to be, and this was done, So i imagine people can chose an initial server based on their timezone (obviously not all timezones can be accomodated) and then find the server they like playing on the most after trying a few others out. EN1 has always been a mix of different nationalities all playing well together, i think it works so well as most people don't tend to use the radio much on that server, and the dispatcher post auto reply messages are translated into the language the user has SimRail in. So when things are running well, the signals tell the drivers all the info they need. 1 1
ExocetCom Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago INT3 at UTC-8 also seems to be fairly popular with Europeans as it'll be daylight on server during their evening hours. I was on there earlier today and saw a number of non-English European members. But ultimately I would expect that INT1 will likely be the server for UK players wanting to play in their own time zone or hopping to INT3 for daylight during their night. DE1 is usually fairly populated during European evenings and I haven't heard too much German-only communications.
