Hello, I would be happy if there was a detailed tutorial on braking the train in the game. I'm not concerned with when to start braking before a station to stop there effectively, but some players might want to know what a self-acting, locomotive, electrodynamic, spring brake is. Also, how the main lines work, sump pressure, etc. It would be good if the tutorial explained all of this, and players could test for themselves how the pressure in the main pipe behaves when braking with the self-acting brake, how much it brakes with the electrodynamic... Also, the tutorial could give information about how, for example, the electrodynamic brake is used to brake a train on a downhill gradient. Then, for example, that the self-acting brake should not be used for a long time, but only to brake intensively for a while, and then release the brake. Also the brakes should be released slowly when stopping at a station... I think some players would like to see this tutorial in the game 🙂

Hey all, after few never-ending months of hard work, we can finally present you our TPV app. TPV stands for Train Position System app. About the authors The TPV was done by JachyHm (train driver in the Czech Republic) and Zdendaki (dispatcher). Last but not least, the testers helped a lot to make this project look better. TPV in reality Our TPV was inspired by reality, it's an important app in real life 🙂 You can see the TPV app on the right monitor of the 4 monitors. Image from Wikipedia About the app It is a useful tool for more efficient organisation and management of rail traffic in the game. The application currently consists of a client, server settings, online trains overview and train history service, while last three being private for the duration of testing and further improvements. In the future, all the sections mentioned above will be open-source. Application is currently localized into Czech, Polish and English language, with expectation to add further community translated languages once it will be fully open-source. Hi, awesome scenario. Although many players from the Czech Republic speak English, I created Czech translation of the scenario. First you need to install the original .zip file in the post from the author, then the .zip below this post to get the translation. After extracting, move the folder Tuco to SimRail\SimRail_Data\StreamingAssets\Sceneries and overwrite the files. If there are will be more scenarios in the future, I'll be happy to translate them too, you can contact me on the official Discord, I have the same nickname there. Hello, I would like to be able to move the game chat to a new window. I'm playing without HUD, and I don't want to turn it on every time I hear someone send a message. Often it's a message from a bot, but sometimes it's important and it's a message from a player. If I had the option to put the HUD in a new window, I could drag the window to a second monitor, but in the game itself I would have all the HUD elements turned off. Thanks

Realistic trolley voltage simulation

Hi, I would like to see a realistic simulation of trolley voltage added. Right now it's holding steady at 3.3 kV, but in reality it changes all the time. It's around 2.8 kV, but, for example, if a heavy freight train occupies the same section, it can get to 2.5 kV or less. This puts a new element into the game. When I start moving with a heavier train, I have to be careful to not take too much voltage from the trolley. I think Traxx (and maybe Dragon) would even shut off the main switch if the voltage is too low. Also, the whole line would be divided into several blocks with different voltages (like in reality). Other players would have to react, how much I take from the trolley, because if the trolley is at low voltage, the heavy trains won't start off. Of course, it would have to be balanced to make the game playable and fun.
