  1. Yep, it now works on my PC as well. Big thanks to all developers for fixing the issue! 🙂
  2. I've experienced lags for a while now whenever I was driving in the section between Dabr. G. Huta Katowice and Dorota. What: The game's performance suffers from image freezes appearing twice every second in a very regular manner. The stutters are also noticeable when moving the throttle wheel of the EU07 (example video provided further below). The audio is continuous with no perceptable breaks. Where: These stutters depend on the driving direction: When driving towards Zabkowice, lags start at the exit of Dorota station (at about 10,7km), ending approximately at km 5,6. When driving towards Dorota, the lags start at Dabr. G. Huta Katowice station and end at Dabr. G. Poludniowa station. I'm currently running SimRail on a Linux PC with the properties below: Distribution: openSUSE Tumbleweed Desktop environment: KDE Plasma 6.1.4 Display server: X11 Kernel version: 6.10.7-1-default Steam Proton version: GE-Proton9-11 (available here: https://github.com/GloriousEggroll/proton-ge-custom; I'll test with Proton Experimental tomorrow) CPU: AMD Ryzen 7700 GPU: AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT RAM: 64GB DDR5 6000MHz I've also attached a video in which those lags are apparent: EDIT: I did test the performance again with Proton Experimental and the freezes appeared there as well. Additionally, I checked the CPU and GPU temperatures, with the CPU being at around 67C and the GPU at around 55C.
  3. When passing a substitute signal in the area of the Dabrowa Gornicza station, a 20kph limit is imposed on the player even though the F2 HUD clearly indicated a 40kph limit ahead. Does this have a special reason or is this just a bug (either concerning HUD or the actual limit)? Additionally, everywhere except in Dabrowa Gornicza, a substitute signal imposes a 40kph limit. This inconsistency within the game (or some rule I unfortunately don't know yet) is especially annoying for me as I'm used to playing without any HUD (just the pure instruments and the paper timetable).
  4. Additionally, I would like a keybind like Ctrl + K for "undimming" the headlights, as I currently have to cycle through all 4 dimming modes by pressing K.
  5. When I was driving a EN57 unit along line 62, I recognized that there were only switches for raising the front and the back pantograph as well as a switch to lower the front pantograph. However, I didn't find any possibility to lower the other pantograph. For me personally, this is relevant as there is a short section in the station of Dąbrowa Górnicza Strzemieszyce which requires all pantographs to not touch the catenary. So, how can I lower the back pantograph of a EN57 multiple unit?
  6. Hey, are there some news regarding this issue?
  7. I'm thankful for you even considering doing some Linux troubleshooting as this is not something one can naturally expect from games that officially only support Windows. Also, I'm willing to provide you with additional information about my system, if necessary. As my system is very new, so is my Linux install, and it may be some distro-specific packages, which determine whether grass is working in Simrail or not. And I also want to mention that apart from grass, everything is working perfectly: the graphics are awesome, and the game runs with almost no noticeable stutters.
  8. IMO it's not necessary for me to additionally install Windows only for playing Simrail. The game runs on Linux very well, as you can see on this site: https://www.protondb.com/app/1422130 Several people already have tested it, and with the Proton compatibility layer, installation is done with one click. It is close to perfect for me, with great performance and graphics. Only problem is, as mentioned, the grass, which isn't shown at all.
  9. Hello! Unfortunately, grass doesn't get rendered at all on my pc in this game. All I can see is just the blank ground textures. Is there anything I can do about it? As Linux isn't officially supported by Simrail and I'm running the game with Steam Proton, I don't think that my grass issue can be resolved by the developers. This is my system: CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7700 GPU: AMD Radeon RX 7800XT 64GB RAM OS: Pop!_OS 22.04 Linux Kernel: 6.6.6-76060606-generic
  10. Sorry for writing in English, but I want to mention that I'm playing on an Intel Iris Xe Graphics device as well and that have the exact same problem. I opened a thread in the English forum yesterday about this issue, and got a link to this thread here. Let's hope it gets fixed soon. Greetings from Austria
  11. After I downloaded and installed the new update via Steam, I got a mostly white screen after loading into the game. As you can see, the game contents get still rendered, but they appear extremely illuminated. I've already tried changing some graphics settings to tackle the problem, as well as checking the integrity of the game files via Steam. In the past, I've already had the issue of white dots appearing on windows while it was raining. However, they could be avoided by changing the Post-Processing settings and never affected my gaming experience in a severe way. (Edit: I turned off HDR in the windows settings. Unfortunately, that didn't fix my issue, either.) My system: CPU: Intel Core i7 1255U (Integrated) GPU: Intel Iris Xe Graphics (which actually performs relatively good compared to other integrated graphics devices) RAM: 40,0 GB OS: Windows 11 Pro 22H2 Screen: 2560x1440, HDR turned on (I'll try playing without HDR and report the results later) Edit: This is what it looks like with UseBloom=False in %Appdata%/LocalLow/SimKol/Simrail/settings.conf: SimRail_log_2023-11-21_19-02-53.txt
