The only solution I found was to turn the game completely off and back on again

I recently discovered that if you move left or backwards and close chatbox with the next station, walking, looking around and teleporting will freeze. It only works for these 2 directions, it doesn't affect the other. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that these 2 directions can be "overwritten" by walking in the opposite direction, for example: when you go left (holding "A") you can press "S" to go right, but the opposite is not possible.
