I currently switch off the PMI and then the sound is fine. I also wonder why the devs are so tight lipped about this issue. They are usually open for improvements. I once handed in a suggestion and it was implemented in the next patch. I was really happy about that and that is why I am a bit baffled why there is so little coming from them regarding the sounds.

Why the confused reaction? I’ve read several threads where people said this is how the loco sounds in real life. I completely understand that the locomotive is supposed to be authentic, but I’ve also seen plenty of comments from players saying the thyristor sounds are really annoying. Some people enjoy the realism, while others don’t like the constant buzzing or simply can’t tolerate it for long. It would be great if they added an option to turn off the buzzing so everyone can play the way they prefer. In the end, it’s still a game, and everyone should be able to enjoy it. As for me, I’m honestly considering refunding the DLC because I can’t drive the loco for more than about 10 minutes 😢

I bought the CD 163 DLC and the locomotive looks great — I really like it. I don’t know the real locomotive, but it’s very nice in the game. Finally something new 🙂 However, I have one problem: the constant high‑ and low‑pitched buzzing sounds are really unnerving. I am hard of hearing and very sensitive to sounds like this, so I can’t stand them for longer than about 15 minutes. I understand that this is how the real locomotive sounds, and it’s great that you aim for realism, but is there any possibility to implement a setting to adjust or reduce these buzzing sounds? I’ve seen other people mention this in reviews and forum posts as well. I would be very happy if such an option could be added.

I took over EIP 1311 on DE1 server and after about 1 minute, the emergency brake was tripped because of a "Balise read error". What did I do wrong here? Since the implementation of ETCS, I encountered it several times that the emergency brake was instantly tripped when disabling the bot while under ETCS. But this time I was able to drive until the Balise read error occured.

Also am Besten den Pendo ausserhalb eines ETCS Blocks übernehmen.

Ich bin jetzt länger nicht mehr Pendolino gefahren aber jedesmal wenn ich einen übernehme und dieser unter ETCS fährt, wird eine Notbremsung ausgelöst, sobald ich den Bot deaktiviere. Soll das so oder mache ich was falsch?

After selecting a server in multiplayer and and choosing the "Drive" option, you can browse through the available services. This works best with the mouse: After clicking on the service, you can see which train is in the service, how much remaining time is in that service and other details. If you use the keyboard (Up/Down arrow keys) to browse the services, the details are only displayed after the ENTER-key is pressed. I personally prefer selecting services with the keyboard and would love if we could cycle throgh the services with the arrow keys only without needing to press the ENTER key.

It has always bothered me that the SHP/Acknowledgement for track magnets (The blinking red symbol in the middle of the screen) cannot be switched off seperately. You can only switch off all information (F3-Key by default). But this also disables the mouse-over description of buttons and switches. I would love the possibility to disable the SHP warning only without also switching the mouse-over info off.

😄 Irgendwann ist es dann tatsächlich auf 104 gesprungen - nach ein paar Tagen abends immer mal ne Runde fahren bin ich dann mittlerweile 106... ich dachte schon da hängt was, war aber wohl zu ungeduldig. Schade, dass es für die FDL noch keine Level gibt. Finde so "Fortschrittsanzeigen" immer ganz nett.

Joa schon klar dass das dauert je höher man ist - ich hab mich halt nur gewundert da ich seit gefühlt ewigen Zeiten Level 103 bin.

Auch wenn das schon älter ist, aber: Ich bin seit geraumer Zeit Level 103 und es tut sich nichts mehr... Ist das Max Level?! Bei Steamdb ist mein Score 342755

Can confirm. The stop at Parzniew is scheduled but there is no station on the route. When the route ends and the graph-summary is displayed, the stop does not appear at all and it was not fined for not stopping.

Mittlerweile geht es wieder.
