Hey, ich möchte euch heute unsere Community-Application "simrail-edr.de" vorstellen. Die Anwendung ist seit Anfang des Jahres in der Entwicklung und wurde wegen vieler Hürden in der Entwicklung noch nicht vorgestellt – dies möchte ich nun nachholen. Anbei möchte ich euch auch die einzelnen Bestandteile der App vorstellen. Fahrpläne - Stellwerke Ein großer Bestandteil der Anwendung sind die Fahrplanansichten für Fahrdienstleiter mit den aktuellen Informationen zu Verspätungen, Verfrühungen, Planhalten, Betriebshalten, Fahrerinformationen und vieles mehr. All diese Informationen werden in den kommenden Patches auch mit in die LiveMap integriert, um einen besseren Überblick über das Stellwerk zu haben. Die Fahrplaninformationen für Fahrdienstleiter sind schon für mobile Geräte optimiert, allerdings empfehle ich hier die Verwendung eines Tablets oder PCs. Damit kommen wir zum nächsten Bestandteil der Anwendung. LiveMap Mit der LiveMap (und einem recht kleinen Aktualisierungsintervall) kannst du deinen Zug und/oder Stellwerk fast in Echtzeit verfolgen, um immer den passenden Überblick zu haben. Auf der LiveMap gibt es aktuelle Informationen zu den Zügen und Stellwerken. Neben den Daten zur Person gibt es bei den Zügen aktuell auch eine Route des Zuges sowie die Wagenreihung. Geplant sind noch weitere Informationen zu den Zügen. Zusätzlich werden bei den Zügen und Stellwerken neben den Spielerdaten auch das Steamprofil sowie die Daten aus der Rangliste (gefahrene Kilometer / Zeit in Stunden auf dem Stellwerk) angezeigt. Rangliste Auf den drei Ranglisten werden aktuell die Daten der Spieler (Punktestand, Zeit auf Stellwerken sowie gefahrene Kilometer) zusammengeführt. Die Rangliste soll zum gemeinsamen Fahren und Ansporn in SimRail anregen, um sich mit den anderen Spielern zu messen. Da die Statuswerte in SimRail aktuell noch nicht sicher vor Manipulation sind, sind diese Werte leider nur ein Anhaltspunkt. LUA-Tools für Szenario-Fahrpläne und Chatnachrichten Ein weiteres Feature der Anwendung sind die LUA-Tools, die euch bei der Erstellung von Szenario-Fahrplänen helfen. Mit diesen Tools könnt ihr Fahrpläne effizient und individuell erstellen, was insbesondere für den Szenariobau hilfreich ist. Außerdem könnt ihr mit den LUA-Tools farbige Chatnachrichten erstellen, um eure Kommunikation in SimRail lebendiger und übersichtlicher zu gestalten. Generator für Wagenreihungen Ebenfalls enthalten ist ein Generator für Wagenreihungen, mit dem ihr eure Zugzusammenstellungen einfach und schnell planen könnt. Dieses Tool spart nicht nur Zeit, sondern hilft auch, Fehler bei der Planung von Zügen zu vermeiden. Die Anwendung ist eine Webanwendung und kann unter https://simrail-edr.de ohne Anmeldung verwendet werden. Below, I’ll present the different components of the app. Timetables - Signal Boxes A major part of the application is the timetable view for dispatchers, featuring real-time information on delays, early arrivals, scheduled stops, operational halts, driver information, and much more. All this information will be integrated into the LiveMap in upcoming patches to provide a better overview of the signal box. While the timetable information is already optimized for mobile devices, I recommend using a tablet or PC for the best experience. Now, let’s move on to the next feature. LiveMap With the LiveMap (and a very small update interval), you can track your train and/or signal box almost in real time, ensuring you always have an up-to-date overview. The LiveMap provides current information on trains and signal boxes. For trains, you’ll also find the route and composition of the train displayed. We plan to add more details about the trains in the future. In addition to train and signal box data, player profiles are shown, including Steam profiles and leaderboard statistics (kilometers driven / hours spent in the signal box). Leaderboard The three leaderboards currently consolidate player data such as scores, time spent in signal boxes, and kilometers driven. The leaderboard is designed to encourage cooperative driving and inspire competition in SimRail, allowing players to measure themselves against others. Since SimRail’s current stats are not yet secure from manipulation, these values should be considered approximate. LUA Tools for Scenario Timetables and Chat Messages Another feature of the application is the LUA tools, which help you create scenario timetables efficiently and flexibly. This tool is especially useful for scenario building. Additionally, the LUA tools allow you to generate colored chat messages, making communication in SimRail more vibrant and easier to follow. Train Composition Generator The app also includes a train composition generator that lets you quickly and easily plan your train setups. This tool not only saves time but also helps prevent errors in train planning.
