Problems with some players on Server FR1
Goozinger replied to Lulu's topic in General Discussion [Multiplayer]
Agree with this. Didnt say the ban is justified. Okay, that means he was not supposed to let the Pendo wait in any possible case as it was on time, right? Edit: nvm i read all the posts now 😛 -
Problems with some players on Server FR1

The distance between Opoczno and Olszamow. is very, very long. If it took the Pendo 5 Minutes delay it was the wrong decision imo. As well it's much easier for the slower train to keep timetable than for the Pendo due to pt's in Strzalki I think -
Problems with some players on Server FR1

I'd be mad. Surely your fault alone and not what you decide when someone goes 180 for some reason. -
Human players and possible third party development

Thats what i really really hope for. In the last weeks skill levels have decreased. That is a good sign that new players follow but it made my personal experience so much worse. -
Sheep Mode

I love it. Give us the same for goats too. For the horns i want random versions of this: -
We need rules and regional moderators on servers
Goozinger replied to Mr Krabs's topic in Discussion générale [FR]
I agree with the need of rules, but there's more to mind when it comes to those. Beside servers that are for beginners and advanced players (advanced not joinable before reaching e.g. lvl 50). On Beginners server no RP and events should be allowed. On advanced i think we should have RP allowed and in best case not some weird stuff a players thinks of but system made incidents. To not have too many incidents on the map there could be 4-5 available and dispatchers choose if still available. The list of active incidents you provide to everyone on the server (maybe in the "tab" menu) then everyone see's how's allowed to do which incident. When a dispatcher accepts an incident it alert that the job is to keep everything as normal as possible and waiting times short. With some cooldowns after someone had an incident it should be well regulated. Some Incidents (like a track closed) could be permitted for stations that cause problems with it (sosn glowny - katowice zabkowice, around gora, etc.) The thing is, that SR is actually pretty boring with the same timetable and only 1-2 good dispatching boxes on the map. I understand, why some players are bored after some time and start RP. The problem is, that new players copy this and then cause real problems for drivers. Imo its not a problem when incidents are handled well and losing few minutes on your ride of 2-3 hours is what i expect the game in multiplayer to be. Also, if some of the boxes would be combined as one (maybe the three lazys) to make them more challenging, that would make players want less incidents and they could handle them better if played well. -
I am totally supporting your idea. Though i can't see the advantage of two People having a Stalin and Hitler avatar becoming friends faster. Not that I mind too much but I think it's better they never meet. No one would ever care if Donald and Daisy Duck Avatars fall in love quickly and play together every day 😉

It can also remind you of topics you don't wanna think about while playing a simulator. That makes my experience worse.

This could also be done combined with a suggestions Van Webby made earlier: DE1 - Driver: High-Level / Dispatcher: High-Level DE2 - Driver: Mid-Level / Dispatcher: Low-Level DE3 - Driver: Low-Level / Dispatcher: Mid-Level DE4+: Any Assuming that the first 3 Servers are available 24h while rest gets shut down during night. Also Skill-Levels for boxes should be adjusted as different skills are required in all boxes. A skill order could be Lvl1 - Timetable, usage of EDR and basic functions only, first steps with no special kills needed (DG) Lvl2 - Train Priorities & Bypassing (Gora Wlodowksa) LVl3 - Blocks And Changing directions Lvl4 ... another basic skill --- All Baisc lvls mastered, u should also spend time in boxes with all skill levels, not just in anyone to reach Lvl X1 X1 - combining multiple of the skills X2 - anything before + system generated errors (track closings, etc.), maybe add custom trains and/or edit timetables If we had servers for different skills you could also adjust the possible boxes for each server. So if u were X2 on DE2 and DE3 u could still be X1 on DE1. In addition that would probably help split players on all available servers and stop having EN1, DE1 and PL1 being always full while all other servers are almost empty.

Dispatchers stopping trains for being early
Goozinger replied to darryl0768healy's topic in General Discussion [Multiplayer]
Exactly this. I think its pretty much everything you need to know. When I'm driving a Pendolino i expect dispatchers treat me as prio 1, if not, then not. But the game is missing a simple info about who has prio or not for new dispatchers. Also i would suggest to higher the needed dispatching times for high-level boxes. EDIT: and also adjust some levels of existing boxes -
Maybe there should be a manual destruction function for users to delete trains if they haven't moved more than X m in last X minutes to free a blocked area instead. I think that would enable users to solve these current and future problems on their own without having to wait hours for a server restart.
