When the sun is setting(or rising) in the sky behind your train the cab should be darker but in Simrail the cab is still bright, I really hope this is looked at in the future.

I know this has been mentioned in the past but I am still hoping we will get an option to turn eye adaptation off, it would be nice not to have the over saturated view in the cab sometimes.

Dispatchers stopping trains for being early
Jasonic replied to darryl0768healy's topic in General Discussion [Multiplayer]
I have witnessed this as well with an express, running a few mins early and being stopped at a red from vmax with nothing else around and getting the signal at the passing time, presume the dispatcher was bored. -
Totally agree, this was mentioned a few times in the playtest as well, I wish there was an option to tone it down as it spoils it a bit for me seeing everything washed out and the cab too bright, and when it is raining heavy it should go darker but stays bright. I understand the devs are concentrating on bug fixing but hope they can look at this at some point.

Yeah I reported the same thing, something has changed since playtest as did not get these sounds then.
-
Yes it environmental sounds as I can hear the same sounds outside some of the dispatch posts(even in middle of no where with nothing around yet hear people talking). I was driving at speed in middle of nowhere so should not hear these sounds unless at a stand in a built up area. I have turned environmental sounds right down in sound settings. Also regarding sounds they still travel too far as I am at Opoczno Poludnie dispatching and can hear train doors closing from the platform which you would not hear from that distance.(feel free to move this comment as maybe should not post this under different topic).

I have noticed recently that when driving after a while I start to hear background sounds of people talking, it seems to be a sort of sound you would hear at stations maybe? I drive with headphones and can just about hear this over the noise from the train. I heard it in pendo and EU07, the windows were open.

Strange red light reflecting in windows at night
Jasonic replied to TheDront's topic in Bug reporting (multiplayer)
Hope this gets sorted soon, the red lights should only be lit at the rear of the train but the lights seem to be lit behind the loco as well. -
It would be handy because with loco hauled passenger trains you need to look back at departure time to check it is ok to leave platform.
-
It’s so random when you do hear them, I have only heard them driving the EU07.
-
I wish you could turn rail shadows off as I would rather not have them.

Eye adaptation: reduce or provide slider in settings

This is I agree with 100% -
Yes very cool

Excellent write up, very interesting to read about your projects. Is Komsi still a thing or is it no longer out there?
-
That’s excellent news, thanks.

There were no humans around, only me driving.

Not sure if this has been mentioned before but when dispatching at DG i dont think you would hear the bells from the crossing at 299.522, maybe faintly but you are in a building. Also when you open the crossing you still hear the bells for a while after the crossing has been opened. The crossing nearest to you(300.015) does not have bells(maybe thats correct).

Maybe in the future we will see an actual AI guard waving a green flag and blowing a whistle, or maybe a human guard, that will be fun. Yeah I have seen the 15 sec, personally I find that too short with older stock with the manual narrow doors, of course station size and time of day can make all the difference to unloading/loading.
-
I think if you are driving a train that would have a guard/train captain/manager that is responsible for closing the doors there should not be a countdown timer as you would just depart when you get right away from said person. In fact should there be a timer? even with driver only operated trains you should depart once it is departure time and the doors are clear.
-
I think these level crossing bells should not be heard in the cab for such a distance, it just doesn’t seem realistic.
-
I also agree with this request, I am another one that uses blutack on the screen.
-
Just see it as green means a proceed and red means stop. As has been said before I wish you could turn the next signal display off so you have to look out for the signal as per real life.
