Hello guys: There is one thing that I find missing highly, a tiny little detail but breaks immersion. There is no Wind Sound when you open a window or a door while the train is going, for example there is nearly no difference between driving with the door open of the loco or not. Would be nice...thats all, keep up the good work!!

I do RP some stuff now and then. NEVER block a line, always make sure whatever you are making up does leave space for you to get into a siding, you can have a perfect RP interaction with the dispatcher while you are out of the main line. If traffic is already disrupted because of other reasons (newbie drivers, newbie dispatchers, AI messing up), do the other players really need to bare with your RP emergency? Hint: They don't. For DRIVERS: There is a myriad of things you can RP that are 'quick' to go through and not invasive for others, I use mainly two scenarios: -Whatever breaks in the loco, requires reset or repair: Need a siding to 'sort it out'. -Whatever medical problem with a passenger: Request a siding, if possible a platform, don't need more than 5 min. Things you don't RP: -Having whatever made up problem that entitles you to stop in the main line. -Having whatever RP reason to block a platform for more than 5-10minutes. For DISPATCHERS: If you have a train doing an RP and being disruptive, not following your orders over the radio, simply open their signal. The bot will take over the train in a few minutes and force the train through. This should be common etiquette and whoever doesn't abide needs to learn, remember to be considerate to others, you need to 'read the room' before you start a RP situation. This goes for any roleplaying in any game. -
Yeah, I do agree with you, a 2nd chat would enforce the current one to stay profresional and realistic. Right now it is always 'what is enough enough?' and 'too much, too much?'. Im taking the idea from IVAO/Vatsim, radio voice is 100% dedicated, but you can have private chats while ingame.

wow amazing info, this should go into a pdf or a guide at the wiki for everyone to find quickly, thank you!

So guys, the other day at night, about 10-20 min after a server restart, I did the S1 or S41 line, and I had a looot more passengers, reminded me of the Playtests even. I had so many passengers reaching the train from all places of the platforms, that I had to wait more time than my stops were allocated for to pick them up, getting a delay 😁 The next day at a normal time I had the little to none passengers like always, so maybe a restart does refresh passengers and fix them for a while?

I was thinking if people would like to have a second chat channel for the whole server just for non professional banter. I find sometimes people do like to chit chat and while it is a lovely experience, the radio channel can and does get cluttered sometimes.

I am really missing the feeling of starting up the train or shutting it down after some time servicing with it in MP Here's hoping it will be added in the future in one form or another.

Apologies if it has been reported before. I run SimRail on a lower resolution than my desktop, and while in the ingame Settings it saves the resolution correctly, everytime I load into a train the game is at my desktop resolution. I have to change/reselect the lower resolution in settings everytime so it applies. TLDR: Game resets to desktop resolution after loading, but remembers the value of desired resolution in Settings.

I have the same 'problem'. Tried to play with the graphic settings but it won't go away.

This kind of answer is exactly what I needed, thank you and keep up the good work!

If the 13th it's an Early Access release, then we have been lied to by the RoadMap and there would be a distinct lack of transparency from the devs that I'm starting to not like.

You can try to call the dispatcher over the radio with ZEW 1 or ZEW 3, it did open the signal for me.
