I agree with this entirely. If the developers and publishers want to "save money" by cutting down on inactive servers, perhaps the focus should be giving players the ability to host their own, as that would be the best way to pass on the cost. I feel like this should be the first focus, and a rather common sense one, rather than upsetting those who thoroughly enjoyed having a server specific to their language to avoid language barriers. Make servers open to those interested in running them, and then you can cut down on most if not all server costs.
